New Year's Eve is always an exciting celebration in Downtown Montpelier. Come downtown for great restaurant specials, live music events, and more! 

Special note: there will not be fireworks this year.

New Year's Eve 5K
2pm | Pavilion Building

The Central Vermont Runners will host the annual New Year’s Eve 5K Race on Monday December 31, starting and ending at the Pavilion Building in Montpelier. Come rain or shine, snow or ice and enjoy running this course through downtown Montpelier. Dress appropriately for the conditions. Race starts at 2:00 PM. Registration can be done online, mail in, or on race day. Race bib pickup and registration can be done at the basement floor of the Pavilion Building 12:30 - 1:45 PM. On New Year's Eve, renowned Vermont soul blues artist Dave Keller will be performing a special early evening seated concert at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier, accompanied by his longtime bandmate Ira Friedman on the church's beautiful piano. 

Doors will open at 5:00 pm, with the concert starting at 5:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased for $15 in advance at www.davekeller.com/shows, or for $20 at the door (cash or credit). All ages are welcome. For more info, email info@davekeller.com.

NYE 2019 with the Mad Mountain Scramblers Presented by Barr Hill

Join us this New Years Eve for an evening of music, libations and fun. Live music provided by the Mad Mountain Scramblers, live oyster bar available through midnight and a champagne toast to usher in the New Year!
