We can hardly wait to welcome the Aeolus Quartet back to Vermont next week to begin rehearsals and time together with them and Abenaki singer-songwriter Bryan Blanchette for our first in-person residency in over a year!

Our week together will culminate with two outdoor concerts on Saturday, August 14 and Sunday, August 15 that celebrate of the movement of water with Blanchette's original music sung in Abenaki and English, the World Premiere of Evan's newest piece My River Runs to Thee for string quintet and soprano, and Joan Tower's White Water quartet.

On Saturday, August 14 at 1 pm, we return to Phantom Theater in Warren for an outdoor concert (rain venue: inside the theater) presented in partnership with Friends of the Mad River and on Sunday, August 15 at 1 pm at the Tuning Forks Stage/Old Shelter area in Hubbard Park (rain venue: Vermont College of Fine Arts Chapel) in Montpelier. We encourage you to bring blankets and chairs for these outdoor performances. We will also record the concerts and hope to be able to share a digital version of this concert following the program.
